Get Downrigging Weekend started in style at the official “Kick-Off ” party on Friday, October 26 from 5:00pm-7:30pm. The Kick-Off Party will be held under the Downrigging Pavilion at the foot of High Street and will feature music by the Dixie Power Trio - one of the East Coasts’s premiere New Orleans music ensembles. Food and drink courtesy of the Fishwhistle Restaurant will be available for purchase on site. Fireworks will start at 7:00pm and the entire fleet will be illuminated throughout the evening. And yes . . . there will be dancing!
