Sultana Projects’ annual “Downrigging Weekend” festival is fast approaching. Featuring more than 30 historic ships, schooners, buy boats, log canoes and more, Downrigging Weekend will be the largest in-water wooden boat festival on the Chesapeake Bay in 2010. The weekend features numerous opportunities to sail on and tour ships visiting Chestertown from as far away as California. New for 2010 are a Wooden Boat Show on Saturday, October 30 and a Family Day on Sunday, October 31. Reservations for many events are already booking quickly so don’t wait too long to make reservations.
