contested at this premier winter sports venue.

The winning bidder gets a seven-night stay (Sun.,

Feb. 26 – Sun., March 4) at the Ironwood resort

in a two-bedroom, two-bath condo that can sleep

SAY, BEVERLY, ISN’T THAT CLINT

EASTWOOD AT THE BAR?

One Week (almost) Stay in Carmel, Califorina

The owners call it “The Betsy Ross Cottage,” but

sleeps six comfortably in three bedrooms (two with

queen beds, one with twins). Has two bathrooms,

in.

TAKE YOUR CREW ON A CHESTER

TOOT

Cruise in the Buyboat East Hampton

Minimum Bid $750

Donated by the Barry Buckley family

Three-hour picnic or cocktail cruise for 20 people

on one of the few remaining Chesapeake Bay

oyster boats. We provide beer, sodas, and snacks

legendary Capt. Andy McCown. You make the

guest list and provide whatever else you wish to

eat or drink. We provide a leisurely toot on a husky

old boat. Date, time, and location (somewhere on

the Chester during 2012) to be worked out.

SEE THE TALL SHIPS FROM YOUR OWN

… TALL SHIP

Downrigging Charter of Sultana

Minimum Bid $750

Private cruise for up to 25 guests on the schooner

SULTANA on the Friday of Downrigging Weekend

(November 2, 2012). Cruise from 2:30-4:30 p.m.

when the Chestertown harbor will be filled with

visiting vessels. Several might also be sailing on

the river during this time, making this a fantastic

photo op. BYOC/NBP (bring your own caterer/

no booze permitted). Still, this is perhaps the

most spectacular time of year on the Chestertown

waterfront.

BRING OUT THE REENACTOR IN YOU

Space for Two on Sultana for the Tea Party

Reenactment 2012

Minimum Bid $300

Picture the two of you on SULTANA’s deck

dressed up as Sons of Liberty, feverishly tossing

tea and whatever or whoever else is handy into

the Chester River. This is a unique opportunity

to take part in a Chestertown tradition, Saturday,

May 26, 2012. Colonial clothing required and

provided. AND, if you sign a waver absolving us

of all responsibility, we can even arrange for you to

be thrown into the water! Winners board Sultana

at approximately 1:00pm on Saturday, May 26 and

return to the dock at around 4:00pm

PADDLE WITH A PRO

Three-Hour Guided Kayak Adventure for Eight

Minimum Bid $350

Eight, single-seat kayaks plus paddles and life

jackets are at your disposal in the company of

Sultana’s own Chris Cerino, who knows our local

waters like few others. Paddle where the wild

things are and learn all about the hidden crannies

of the Eastern Shore waterways. To take place

on a mutually agreeable date in 2012 (weekend

dates possible) on the Chester, Sassafras, or

upper Choptank rivers. Sorry, no children under

10 years old.

SOMETHING TO REALLY RALLY ‘ROUND

Custom Sultana Masthead Flag

Minimum Bid $500

Flown from SULTANA’s main mast the last two

seasons, this is only the second actual SULTANA

ensign ever auctioned. Not sold in any store. (Or

even on Ebay, for that matter.) Custom crafted,

five feet by one and a half, yellow and black. Hang

it in your trophy room, wave it from your porch, or

turn it into a pair of socks. Just don’t wear them to

the next Steelers-Ravens game.
